Where does your man buy his jeans?

Mine is tall with long legs, no bum and a big waist and all his jeans look pretty awful on him! But then he does tend to buy the M&S bargain range. I'm sure there must be better fitting ones out there. He also hates trying stuff on so he buys whatever fits best after trying about 3 pairs on... (so we need to get the shop right in the first place!)

All help gratefully received!

dp gets them in next - though he is the opposite to your chap as he has rugby player thighs and bum and finds it difficult to find non-skinny jeans (which look a bit daft on him and aren't comfortable for him). next seem to do lots of different cuts

mamaduckbone · 20/02/2014 10:15

Carhartt - he is 6'6'' and they are the only ones he's ever found that are long enough. He buys 2 or 3 pairs at a time, wears them til they fall apart and then buys them again.

HyvaPaiva · 20/02/2014 10:16

French Connection jeans for men are fantastic. DP is tall, thin, long legs, slightly larger thighs, and a regular waist and he swears by them. Plus, on ASOS, they are always on sale (e.g. right now, lots of £70 pairs for £36).

BobPatSamandIgglePiggle · 20/02/2014 10:19

Levi 501s - never wears anything else!

MirandaWest · 20/02/2014 10:19

My bf has some from gap that look good (and some others possibly from lands end which are less good)

MrsCampbellBlack · 20/02/2014 10:21

DH is tall and slim and generally wears Diesel.

dexter73 · 20/02/2014 10:29

My dh is average height with large cyclist's thighs and he gets his jeans from Uniqlo. They do a few different cuts so would be worth a look for any shape.

Snowdown · 20/02/2014 10:52

Gap - they sell 36in inside leg.

GretaWolfcastle · 20/02/2014 10:55

gap - the home of the rugby thighed man

craftynclothy · 20/02/2014 11:02

Next and gap. His last pair were from The Hut (free when you bought a hoody so a real bargain)

sebsmummy1 · 20/02/2014 11:10

Superdry and he looks yum in them Grin

ILoveWooly · 20/02/2014 11:11

Fat face, Zara and Gap.

minko · 20/02/2014 11:11

Do Gap do 38" + waists??? He is a bit of 'unique' shape in that he has 34" legs and a 38" waist...

DH only wears Levi's. We buy there from the designer outlet where they are a lot cheaper.
Similar to your DH, long legs, no bum, big waist.

GretaWolfcastle · 20/02/2014 11:18

dunno - look online

ILoveWooly · 20/02/2014 11:22

Friends DH is a 38 inch waist... he uses ASOS as many regular shops stop at a 36.

whereisshe · 20/02/2014 11:22

DH is a 36" waist, 34" leg and I always get his jeans from asos (whatever is the right shape in his size and on sale) - it's too much of a pain trying to find his size in a shop. Actually a 35" waist would be better but hardly anyone makes them.

overmydeadbody · 20/02/2014 11:24

My DP wears Levis, he's tall but slim with cyclist's thighs ans bum, no idea what Levis would be like for men with big waists though, sorry.

VillaVillekulla · 20/02/2014 11:24

Diesel

50ShadesOfMaybe · 20/02/2014 11:34

DH has skinny legs and bum - a runner's physique. Favours strange Swedish brands from Urban Outfitters. Cheap Monday, I think.

Says River Island and Gap are too baggy on his thighs.

Lambzig · 20/02/2014 12:55

Uniqlo, lots of different cuts and the selvedge men's jeans are fabulous.

MrsBungle · 20/02/2014 12:56

Dh only really wears Paul smith or diesel - sometimes Levi's. Or Fred perry chinos.

Vickiyumyum · 20/02/2014 13:45

xh wears boden jeans, they are surprisingly nice colours are better than they look online, or mandmdirect. he also likes paul smith and boss.

Artandco · 20/02/2014 13:51

Levi or ted baker

Tends to wear chinos more atm from ted baker, superdry or gant

dollydiamond68 · 20/02/2014 17:06

Diesel or Replay - anytime he's gone for cheaper jeans they just look crap on him.
