What goes with Brogues?

Nipped into Clarks to get dd's feet measured at the weekend, and the assistant was wearing these:

Brogues

I really want them.

What sort of clothes could I wear them with? They'd be better than primark ballet pumps with holes in for work but can't really afford to change my work wardrobe to make them work!

i have them in the tan colour and wear them with blue work trousers (full length and 7/8 and rolled up chinos) and beige/neutral trousers.

I don't wear them with dresses or skirts but that's because I don't wear many dresses or skirts.

I have them in black and tan. I wear them with jeans, trousers, skirts and dresses. I find they go with all sorts of outfits.

I love wearing wide-leg, turn-up trousers in tweed with brogues.

I have those exact ones and they are so comfy. Watching this thread with interest as I don't always know what to wear them with - but usually shortish skirts and thick tights.

Mine are tan. I tend to wear them with dresses and skirts.

I've ordered patent and tan. Had a discount code, plus cashback. So it's rude not to really.

I'll return one pair once I've tried them honest

i bought them a couple of years ago and were the best puchase ever. out of all my shoes i wore them to death as they were super comfy and went with everything, and also were fine for all the seasons.

ive now just ordered heeled brogues in wide fit. can't wait.
