Statement necklace that isn't large?

I don't suit large pieces of jewellery. Fine, delicate and quirk is the way to go according to my HoC consultant (and silver-toned as I am a winter). Does such a thing as a "statement necklace" exist that fits these criteria? If I google statement necklace I always seem to get large, clunky pieces that I'm sure suit many people but not me.

Thank you, some lovely ideas. Just wish my budget stretched to Alex Monroe! Its funny that the ones I was automatically drawn to on the website were the most expensive ones - even without looking at price tags!

I know what you mean, I also like unusual but not chunky. Big wooden beads aren't me at all.

I'm going to have to confess my viewing habits to link to this , but QVC had some jewellery on last night by Folli Follie which I thought was lovely. They aren't cheap but not off the clock either.

The heart necklaces are lovely in that they join together to become a 4 leaf clover. I loved them.

How about several longish chains together? I find that long lines suit me better than big, chunky pieces. M&S have lots of things that are beady/chainy etc. 2 or 3 of them combined could look lovely. Or a very long necklace round wound twice (once tight to your neck and the other hanging down iyswim). Have a look at some of these.

I have the same issue. Being large of bust a big necklace just looks too cramped, but really fine ones look a bit spindly, plus my young children have been know to break them!

These ones aren't cheap but they are the sort of statement necklace that you can wear with anything, day or night (I have one similar to the last one but with a 'knot' link rather than the heart and I wear it all the time, plus it is toddler proof which is a bonus...)
