What colour of tights?

I am away to an informal celebration of marriage tomorrow night, I want to look smart but not OOT. I have a dark blue tunic dress which I am planning to wear with blue high healed ankle boots - but do I wear black or blue tights? Or should I wear black ankle boots instead of the blue.....just never worn blue tights before.

Never thought about grey good suggestion, with the blue boots?

I think blue tights would be one blue too many unless the match was outstandingly good. I'd go nude or black.

That's what I was worried about, maybe nude with the blue boots, or black tights and black boots away to try.
