Footwear when working in showhome

I work in sales or a house building company and have recently moved to a new site where unusually the sales office is within the showhome (rather than seperate building). We supply shoecovers for visitors but I am unsure what i should wear on my feet.

At the moment I can't even ealk from my car to the door without getting my shoes mucky and I am concerned that heels might da,age the carpets.

Any suggestions please?

New pair of shoes that you only wear inside? As in, change when you get into the building.

Yes. Wear wellies to the door and put on a pair of new shoes. Maybe ballet flats.

Thanks ballet flats are a good idea. One of my colleagues changes into smart slippers but i was'nt sure about that.

Theres something appealing about being able to wear your slippers to work. Its like a comfortable taboo.

slipper to work is just wrong, unless you are an actor

Indoor shoes

Second the flats idea, just keep them somewhere where you can just slip them on easily and never wear them outside.
