I don't know what to ask for. Appointment tuesday. She has straggly/ curly hair, currently shoulder length. Always in a plait or pony tail as it's so messy. She has a very round face. We don't want a fringe. I've tried looking for pictures but can't find anything right. Simple and natural as possible.

Just have it to jaw length? My DDs' hair curls rather than straggles then and is cute with a sturdy clip to keep it to one side. I take them with their hair wet and detangled so that they spend all the time that they can sit still actually having it cut rather than messing about beforehand.

Thanks, that's what I'm thinking. Would it still go into a ponytail if necessary? Do you have layers in your DD's?
