I need some jean or leggings help

I need some jeans or leggings that are tight on the knee and don't go baggy! But are stretchy on the belly and hips or maybe hold me in?

Something to give me a good shape. Any ideas?

I tried some jeggings on in Matalan of all places yesterday and was impressed. Very comfy, and didn't look like they bag at the knee. Had an elasticised type waistband so I imagine they'd hold you in a bit.

I know This may not be acceptable to some OP's but Marks and Spencer do a tregging in their Collection range which has a built in control for bum and tum they're £22 I think sorry don't know how to link :(

I have a couple of pairs of skinny new look jeans (think they were recommended on mumsnet), which are quite good at shaping the bum and stomach while remaining tight on the knee.

DaftSkunk · 12/02/2014 12:52

I posted a similar thread yesterday and was recommended the New Look super skinny high rise jeans. I bought a pair yesterday and I am super impressed with them so far! They were £22.99.

Try George's wonderfit. They are £18 available in dark blue and black and hold their shape well. X

My new favourites are Gap 1969 jeggings - 30% off at the moment.

Monsoon Penelope leggings.Thick cotton with a deep control panel over the tummy that makes you feel very 'contained' for want of a better word. The best leggings I' be ever bought ( though Matalans are pretty good).

DesperateHousewife21 · 13/02/2014 13:30

I love zara skinny jeans. about £25 good stretch to them but v flattering on the leg also nice and long for my 32" legs.
Think they are their basic denim range.

goodasitgets · 13/02/2014 14:45

M&S 5 pocket jeggings
If you want leggings for under skirts, maidenform flexees are fab. You can get them at Tesco online and use club card points Wink
V v flattering and have a shape panel but not uncomfy

CatAmongThePigeons · 13/02/2014 14:50

Primark jeans, the proper heavy denim ones are really good

TessTackle · 13/02/2014 14:51

I've discovered (and am wearing today) Fearne Cotton for very skinny jeans. High waisted, stretchy and still skinny all the way down with no knee bagging. £25 if I remember rightly.

Best1sWest · 13/02/2014 17:01

Second the M&S tregging.

hollyangel · 13/02/2014 17:05

I second the recommendation for the Dorothy Perkins Eden jeggings. I bought one pair online last week and then went straight on and ordered another 3 pairs! Lovely and high waisted, hold you in at the top so no dreaded muffin-top, but still look like jeans, one of my pet peeves with jeggings is when they are too legging-y.
