Are these shoes a bit too safe?

I need shoes for going back to work after ML. On my feet all day and walk a fair bit too. I don't really suit flats. I am fairly short and I am so used to heels and tend to wear a smart trouser.

I have fit flop ugg style boots and find them great for country walks etc.

Are they a bit ugly ? At least I could work in them

Thank You

That was my though too dancing. Long black trousers mainly, so they might not be on view

Oh how my priorities have changed :)

It would only be for work or taking the baby for a walk straight after work.

The ugly bit (the great big sole) would still be visible in trousers. Surely there is a nicer looking but still comfy option out there.

drwitch · 11/02/2014 10:38

what about an ankle boot with a small heel eg.
jones the bootmaker ones

Impatientismymiddlename · 11/02/2014 10:44

Sorry, I think they are very grannyish and ugly.

BuggerGrips · 11/02/2014 10:46

Sorry, but I think they are horrible.

HelloBoys · 11/02/2014 10:48

They're not very nice sorry op. The wedge sole is a bit too much.

burnishedsilver · 11/02/2014 10:57

Actually, they're better in rl than in the picture.

I think they're fine for work if you're on your feet all day.

If go for a boot you wont be able to wear them in a couple of months when the weather improves.

lurkingaround · 11/02/2014 11:00

Sorry, I don't like them at all either.

ProfondoRosso · 11/02/2014 11:02

I like the big sole! I bet they'd cost a pretty penny at Cos.

burnishedsilver · 11/02/2014 11:05

This isn't me, it's from Google images.
I don't sees anything wrong with them. In fact I kind of like the red patent ones.

Frankly they are ugly. But I am a big fitflp fan and have toyed with the idea of buying some myself.

They do look better in real life but not much

Maybe a different colour ? the black is so orthopaedic

Mrswellyboot · 11/02/2014 16:42
Blush

I think you are right.. I actually have at style of boot above. I am a big heel fan so maybe too much a jump to these
