MAC brush users

Do yours shed ? mine are authentic bought in store (lots of internet fakes apparently ) and after a few months they are shedding hair. I hate looking all hairy faced .
They aren't cheap and I am a bit miffed .

How do you wash and dry them? Is the ferrule damaged? I dip-wash mine in a mild baby shampoo taking care to avoid extended soaking and avoiding to get the glued together part wet. No shedding after a year of daily use!

Ive got a foundation one, its shed a a little bit but only about 5 strands. I guess even expensive ones shed a little.

I clean with baby wipes and don't ever soak them. I must just have bad luck but 3 are seriously no longer useable .
