Nasty cold and makeup

Help! I have an absolutely horrible cold - really phlegmy, and as a result my nose and the area between my nose and mouth is dry, sore and red raw as I've had to be constantly blowing my nose.

This obviously means makeup seems silly as it is wiped off as soon as I blow my nose but I look awful!

Anyone got any advice?

I would make the most of being ill and milk it!! Don't worry about make up. If you are ill, just be ill. Sorry no help at all.

sudocrem! makes your nose white but works a treat!

Kleenex balsam tissues.....no comparison. They almost eliminate the red nose. Bio oil is also good.

I had a nasty cold last week and trust me was sniffing so much and watery eyes that I only bothered with it when met a friend and boyfriend. It wasn't a bad bad cold.

Moisturise your nose and lips.

Forget about makeup until you feel better and just put some vick's vapo-rub or vaseline under your nose to keep the area moisturized.
