I currently use Utan and also like the sensitive St Tropez but would love to look more olive / brown in tone rather than bright orange :0)

Xen-tan is has got a natural look, my niece swears by the new fake bake.

What is your natural colouring?

brighthouse · 09/02/2014 21:14

My skin colouring is medium I would tan quite easily but I don't like sun bathing so I just fake it, I have tried lots, the ones for me that look the most natural are xen, famous daves, They do have more an olive tone on me. Look at the reviews for them sometimes it gives you more an idea.

Thank you. Famous D seems to be the one reviewed that would be most worth me giving a go, I'm naturally blonde and tan very 'golden' but veer towards tango with most tanners.

I've heard that if you add a few drops of red food colouring to a bottle of fake tan it removes the orangey-ness and makes it look more like a natural tan. Have never tried it though so can't vouch for it.....

I find whatever one buys turns out the same once the guide colour has gone since they all rely on the same chemical component to make the tan colour. (Which in my case is always orange.)

kaumana · 10/02/2014 19:51

I have tried them ALL. Everything from the build up ones to salon exclusive ones. And the clear winner for me is St Moritz mousse. Cheap as chips and practically full proof when used with a tanning mit.

I'm blonde with fair skin and dislike the tangoed look of which I have had more than a few experiences of being..Vani - T being the worst.
