50's style jewellery

Can anyone give me some ideas of 50's style jewellery please? A friend has been invited to a 50's inspired wedding and has asked if I can make her some jewellery.

I've had a google and there's a lot of pearls and diamonds. Is that the main style of jewellery.

I know she's bought a red dress, black petticoat and a black shrug.

Thanks.

See, 50's style could be a lot of things really...

For me it's Bakelite, French pastes and multi strand pearls.

You can pick French pastes:Bakelite up at a fair price. A strand of freshwater pearls for £30.

Not sure what you'd make for her.
