GAP womens sizing?

Anyone know how it fits, have seen a few things online that I like and our GAP is tiny so never anything nice in there. JUst wondered if I need to order 2 of everything for fit? I'm a 12 in the likes of topshop, phase eight, French connection and usually boden too.

It's American so uk size 12 is an 8

You should be fine with Medium or your regular tops but their jeans recently are sized very big.

It's mostly all labelled with UK sizes on website.

I find gap tops on the big side. I get 10 Boden tops, sometimes 8, and with Gap I fit into P or XP

I find any jeans with stretch come up big and those without come up true to size/ small. I'd got for ordering two of each and making the most of free returns or taking back to store.

I'm a 12 too and get a small or medium for tops/shirts/sweaters in Gap. Skirts can be a 10 or a 12. I find it a bit hit and miss with sizing in there tbh.

I don't wear jeans, was mainly tops, so will order a few of each size and hope their returns policy is ok.

I am a 12 in Topshop but take XS skirt size in Gap so think their sizing is big. Also would not recommend their jeans with stretch as they stretch massively throughout the day - could pull mine down without undoing buttons or zip by end of day!

Their jean sizing is inconsistent.

I agree tops are big-ish. I have quite a few of their plain long sleeve tops in size M which are a little bit on the large side, even though I'm a size 12.
