Stupid question about fabrics

I have two jumpers from the same shop. Style almost identical but different fabrics.

One is 92% cotton, 8% wool.

The other is 53% acrylic, 25% polyamide, 7% nylon, 6% wool, 6% polyester, 5% angora.

Which one is likely to be the most robust - ie washing up/lasting well?

I always find cotton jumpers wash really well.
Bit confused about the composition of the other one - I though polyamide was just another word for nylon?

The cotton and wool one. IME natural fibres wear better tha synthetics. Synthetics may last longer but their quality degrades with washing and wearing.

In my experience, anything synthetic may look great in the changing room but, after a couple of wears, it looks like you've washed and dried the dishes with it. I never, ever seem to remember this! Mind you, cotton can be variable quality too.
