What have you bought this month? [FEBRUARY 2014]

On another forum I used to frequent there was a monthly 'What have you bought?' thread. It was absolutely amazing for help finding new things to buy! I'm in desperate need of inspiration so hoped you'd all think this is a fun idea and hop on in to leave links to your purchases throughout Feb...

Quiet so far for me this year.

Selling a few valuable things on eBay this week so may treat myself to this Coach bag. Can't decide - mahogany or tan?

Not a single flipping thing Angry I'm having a no spend Feb (except essentials - food diesel etc)

littleredsquirrel · 04/02/2014 17:35

I have bought a family ticket to the Tower of London four travel cards a pack of chalk pens and an ink cartridge for my printer. Nothing S&B at all Sad

nikkihollis · 04/02/2014 19:03

bought these today. Really lovely fit. Am either a 12 or 14 in most shops and got the 12. A bit snug but still look lovely and not uncomfortable. Look nice tucked into boots as they're straight but veering to skinny fit I'd say. Good for short people too. The roll up fit is 'normal' length for me.

Nothing - well no clothes. I have stacks and am resolved not to purchase anything in 2014. Have had wardrobe and loft bags out and discovered a whole world of items I forgot I had.
Note that this has not stopped me displacement spending in Home Sense and Boots. And I acquired a beautiful new ultra book laptop yesterday.

Navy suede French 75 stilettos from Whistles
Grey ankle boots from & Other Stories
Grey wool scarf from Cos.

I stalked the shoes and ankle boots online for ages until they were marked down, so I got a good deal on those (£65 for the stilettos, £24 for the ankle boots). They grey scarf was a very necessary purchase considering the freezing weather - it's pure wool and gorgeous quality. I don't plan on buying anything else this month - just can't afford it and don't need anything else right now.

RemusLupinsBiggestGroupie · 04/02/2014 20:05

MrsNoodleHead · 04/02/2014 20:54

Great idea for a thread - clearly lots of people scratching the shopping itch after a frugal January!

I ordered this today:

What have you bought this month? [FEBRUARY 2014]
frankietwospots · 04/02/2014 21:16

Fraggle - no, not ordered from that Etsy seller before but will report back when the mint necklace arrives!

Foolsilver - I hunted high and low on the New Look website but couldn't see the jeans. I went in store and found them. Two things give them away - they are 99% cotton, 1% elastane and they have blue stitching, not orange. I got an 8, 32 inch leg and they are perfect.

Hope the peeps who have bought the Boden clutch like it! Mine arrived today but I've been too lazy to open the parcel.

Allthingsprettyreturns · 04/02/2014 21:24

I'm toying with ordering this; www.lkbennett.com/Clothing/Dresses/Eldora-Silk-Printed-Dress/p/DRELDORASILKPrintFuchsia?nr=8&product=8

Thought it might be nice for those hot evenings. But I don't know if I'm just being lured by the sale price.
