What have you bought this month? [FEBRUARY 2014]

On another forum I used to frequent there was a monthly 'What have you bought?' thread. It was absolutely amazing for help finding new things to buy! I'm in desperate need of inspiration so hoped you'd all think this is a fun idea and hop on in to leave links to your purchases throughout Feb...

Quiet so far for me this year.

Selling a few valuable things on eBay this week so may treat myself to this Coach bag. Can't decide - mahogany or tan?

I bought this for a wedding next month butterfly dress which I am kidding myself I will also wear for the church blessing of the same couple in the summer. Hoping I can get away with some shoe boots DH made me spend a fortune on last year.

Cardi from Woolovers, cashmere and Merino.

Are we doing make up as well? -Max Factor whipped cream foundation, Loreal lumi magique pressed powder, Laura day and night creams, body cream and facial wash.

Bit spendy, need to reign it in for FebBlush

pam I like that dotty p jumper but the one review its got only gives it one star! Have you tried it on yet?

Ive bought a £1 nail varnish from Asda Grin

Oh and a 2 pack of vest pj tops for £3 also in Asda (Asda have a big half price sale atm)

Apart from that I really cant find clothes I love anymore. Im 23 so kind of feel at that in between age of not a teen so no crop tops and hotpants (ive also had 2 kids!) but Im not exactly after really expensive long lasting classics like an older person might want. Im also a sahm so only need casual stuff.

If anyone finds a grey/ black/ oatmeal coloured chunky knit cardigan for around £30 let me know!

Frankietwospots - I really like the sound of the new look jeans but there are loads online and I can't figure out which they are. Do you have a link?

Thanks

Thanks, Homeaway. I'm 5'4 and it sits just above on the knee on me. Not sure I could go as short as it is on the model for a wedding (old-fashioned, and large of thigh, me). :-)

I love the book clutch! I think I may go for the Persuasion one, so at least I'm not completely copying Grin

DesperateHousewife21, no I've not tried it on yet. I only got it for sitting round the house in so not too fussed really. It feels nice and soft though.

I was stuck between the Alice in Wonderland and the Winnie the Pooh one. I might get the WtP one next month.
Postage was expensive (from Italy) but it only took a few days to arrive and there were no customs charges luckily.

And is it big enough to fit a normal purse in?

Report
FracturedViewOfLife · 04/02/2014 16:36

I've tried with 3 medium/small purses. I can fit the medium purses in but not really anything else besides lip balm and at a push a phone. My smallish ted baker purse fits lengthways with room for iphone, 20 cigarettes, lip balm lighter and pen (I just experimented.)

Thanks! Hmm, suppose I could just shove in cards and phone, it would teach me not to lug around so much rubbish.

Is that forum a pink place or somewhere else?

I've just ordered this. It might be great for a wedding with jacket, heels etc to dress it up. I am on an eternal dress quest.

Or it might be too casual.
