Warm boots but not uggs

I really need your advice S&B!

I have raynauds (v.v. poor circulation to feet and hands) and it is getting increasing worse and more painful. My feet go numb at the slightest hint of cold they go blue, yellow and white and stay 'frozen' for a very long time. When they warm up they swell, throb and are very painful for hours after.

I need to stop them getting cold in the first place. I need something like uggs but not uggs - I don't really like the look of them (no offence but they are not really me!). I am mid 30's (so still young) but need something warm and cosy but still relatively stylish. I have tried to wear thick socks with my regular shoes but I need more than that.

hope you can help.

I feel your pain! I have raynauds too but not near as bad as you describe

I have caterpillar Anna/mardy fur and they are warm with thick soles that give insulation from the cold floor and I also have a pair of Hudson Tathum - they are shearling lined and divinely warm :-)

raynauds society have a shop but you may already be aware

Could you link to some boots you do like the style of and then we could maybe find you warm versions?

Thank you for your reply.

I looked at the cat Anna boots but I prefer ankle boots- the hudson ones look great :-) good to hear that they are warm.

I am a size 3 and am quite petite in height and size so I don't want too big (as in height) boots. I like ankle boots- biker or ankle boots with a thin/kitten heel (which isn't really practical for my feet at the mo). I really like the look of the Hudson ones and they have my size am v tempted......

Have you seen ugg noira ? I have two pairs and they keep my feet dry and toasty . More of a biker boot that come in black or brown.. Also ugg grandle . I don't think you an beat uggs for warmth .

Anna kick are the short version...USC have your size for a bargain £50

Try ebay for hudsons at a much cheaper price

I'm not keen on the look of Uggs either but those Noira's look lovely. I've seen people IRL with them on but hadn't realised they were Uggs - I may be a potential convert!

Dr Martens Triumph have shearling linings too (the laces may not be great if your hands are playing up though Sad )

Whatever you get, get a set of sheepskin insoles for them. They are fab. I have them in my Converse, toasty warm.

Thanks everyone. Lots to look at!

£50 for the Anna- that's a great find cish&fips.

The uggs are nice but not sure i want to spend over £200. Off to order the caterpillar boots now.

Thank you - S&B strikes again!
