Please can you recommend a deodorant that is good at odour protection I normally use sure but it doesn't seem to be cutting it to my embarrassment.

Mitchum is really very good indeed.

asandwichshort · 31/01/2014 19:31

Second Mitchum

asandwichshort · 31/01/2014 19:32

Second Mitchum!!

TheReluctantCountess · 31/01/2014 19:32

Yes, Mitchum. Sanex is pretty good to.
Mitchum have a new 48 hour one which is good.

asandwichshort · 31/01/2014 19:33

Confused didn't mean to second it twice!

Groovester · 31/01/2014 19:34

I swear by the peachy/orangey sanex one. Works for me, especially when I am at work.

MrGeresHamster · 31/01/2014 19:34

Another Mitchum fan.

Beanymonster · 31/01/2014 19:36

I alternate because I'm a weirdo my armpits get immune if I use one for too long!
I use the pink Mitchum, until it's finished, then the orange/ peachy Sanex until it's finished..
It works for my 9/10 times (but I do have pregnancy sense of smell, and it's doing okay!)

LakeFlyPie · 31/01/2014 19:39

I rate the Sanex roll ons, either peach or purple colour ones

asandwichshort · 31/01/2014 19:40

Beany you must have my ipad ( double post) and my armpits - mine get immune too!!! I am going to get the orange/peachy Sanex tomorrow so we can be twins! Although I do not want the pregnancy part!!!

ilovepowerhoop · 31/01/2014 19:43

I like garnier ultra dry roll on or blue sanex

ikeameatball · 31/01/2014 19:46

Another vote here for Sanex (roll on).

ItsATIARA · 31/01/2014 19:47

I like the Nivea 48 hour black and white.

Mrswellyboot · 31/01/2014 19:51

I don't find sanex good

Whatever you do, don't get dricolour (sp)

I ended up with block pores and in serious agony Hmm

Sunflower6 · 31/01/2014 20:03

Thank you for your recommendations, does anyone find that roll ons are Better than aerosols or vice versa? I had never thought about my body getting immune to the deodorant perhaps that's part of the problem.

GlitzAndGiggles · 31/01/2014 20:10

Nivea is good

GlitzAndGiggles · 31/01/2014 20:12

Sanex doesn't work for me I always smell after a few hours. Nivea and Sure last all day on me

IlonaRN · 31/01/2014 20:33

The best one by far that I have tried is the Vichy 48hr anti-perspirant.
I used to use Mitchum until it stopped working for me. The Vichy does the job a treat.

LittleBabyPigsus · 31/01/2014 20:35

I'm not sure there's a big difference between sprays and roll ons tbh. I like Nivea.

jasmine31 · 31/01/2014 20:36

Yes I find roll ons much better. I use mitchum too-normally the roll on which is great but used the spray the other day and it definitely wasn't as good for dryness. It is important to let the roll on fully dry before getting dressed though.

MrGeresHamster · 31/01/2014 21:12

I do the immune thing too, but Mitchum has been doing well. I do alternate with other brands but go back to the Mitchum.

The deodorant sticks work the best, but I don't use them since I started getting boils. Sprays are the only ones that don't give me boils. I never want to repeat that.

Mikkii · 31/01/2014 21:58

I can use a spray occasionally but if I use it all the time I get itchy pits (not a good look).

I like the Dove/Sure 48 hour creams, but they are really expensive. At the moment I have Nivea spray (it was on special) and Santa put loads of sanex roll ons (peach/purple/blue) in my stocking as he spent too much on my big present to put nice things in my stocking so I won't need to buy deodorant until the summer!

DramaAlpaca · 31/01/2014 22:00

Mitchum roll-on here too.

ThursdayLast · 31/01/2014 22:00

I get itchy pots from anything other aerosol deodorant. Which was not fun when my UK deodorant ran out when I was in Canada. I couldn't find a spray one anywhere!
I now use Dove, but I don't think I'm a big test for them.
