Vest or no vest?

I am out tomorrow night and am planning to wear (amongst other things) a very fine (as in thin, not excellently done) knitted top. If I have no vest top/cami thing, my bra is visible, if I do wear one, I feel a bit like I am a 6 year old covering up.
Do I brave the bra, or go with the vest??

Unless you are 18 and have the figure of a supermodel, go for the vest. Preferably something in the same colour as the top, or at least a complimentary colour. Not the white, thermal, M&S underwear kind.

Hmm, entirely depends on what the top looks like, what colour it is/your bra is etc.

I would always say vest unless you will be wearing a tshirt bra that looks plain but not unsexy. I'm not explaining myself well!

I think a thin but tight/lycra vest with spaghetti straps so it maintains a silhouette. Have lovely time.

Vest in a colour that tones with your skin. Saucy.

Thank you - vest it is then! Am neither 18 nor a supermodel... Top is a sort of teal colour. Shall not wear my thermals, but may look a bit serviceably beige or black underneath!

Given the weather tomorrow, my skin is more likely to tone with the top than my underwear! Friend informs me big sensible winter parka is not suitable first date coat.
