Designer bag - what to use to protect from the elements?

I've got a Michael kors bag to use for my commute to work but being up north the weather gets pretty minging & I've got a 10min walk from the station to work.

I know leather bags + rain is a bad combo so what can I use to put/spray on it to protect it??

I don't want to put any old thing onto it in case I ruin it - it being fairly pricey!

Colonil spray to protect against rain I use it on all my leather bags. Clarks waterproof spray very similar

Carrie beat me to it - Collonil, I was sold it with a Muberry bag which I use every day and it's fantastic. My bag is a pale buttery tan leather and I was nervous about using it.
