What does one wear for interviews these days?

I'm looking for a new job & am hoping for interviews soon. I haven't had an interview for a long time & wondered if suits were still the only acceptable thing to wear?

I'm not thinking of turning up in jeans & trainers but was wondering if a nice dress with knee boots would be appropriate or not.

I recently got a job wearing an a line dress with a smart blazer and a mumsnet scarf! Other candidates wore suits, or black trousers, smart top. All had flat shoes on for just in case any action was required! This was to work as a school TA.
Best of luck with the job hunt!

Dress - ideally with jacket ok - not knee boots I would say - low heels?
Depends on the sector and the company a bit - but you can't go too smart for interviews in my view

Smart dress and jacket have been my go to interview wear. I also do suit for 1st or 2nd interview.

Shift dresses are good. Try jigsaw, mango suit/workwear and warehouse workwear maybe Hobbs.
