Hi,

I am a 32/34F after being intervened. I have since bought a range of bras.

My favourite by far for shape are some I bought from next have a
boned structure on the band going up down under my arm.

But this hurts. It is rubbing on the bottom end of the boning. I almost blister from it with the black bra which is slightly tighter (2 pack). At best it is sore red and bruised after half a day. Ive tried washing the bras to soften them up. Ive hoped its just a 'wear them in' like new shoes problem. I've tried adjusting the bra when I put it on, which helps a bit but I still end up sore.

I'm sure a 34 is too loose, I can do it up on the tightest hook, so I think a 32 is right.

I'm thinking of slitting the casing holding the plastic boning open and removing it. Will this affect the functionality of the bra?

What do you reckon?

Is it an extra vertical bit of boning that's separate to the main underwire? If so it sounds like a bra with side support and I doubt removing it would harm it

Black bras are always a little tighter btw. It's something to do with how the dye affects the elasticity

take it out on these ones as it's not going to get better, prob because of where it's sitting on your frame/ribs.

The most comfy bra i have found is the Helena bra by Fantasie, order it on ebay, i used to work in bras (Rigby and Peller), and Fantasie bras are very well made.

If you're preffering a 32, what cup in that are you wearing, there as a big cup difference between a 32e and a 34e.

When I try on I try 32, 34 and EE F and FF in various combinations.

In this bra I'm wearing 32F. I have a 32EE in another brand and style.

The boning is seperate. About an inch away from the under wire. Ive taken it out....we shall see.
