Can I be really nosey and ask how old you are if you love this foundation ? I tried it years ago, quite liked it (can't remember why I stopped using it) but am a bit older now and have one or several hundred two lines on my face now. How does it do on slightly older skin, pushing 40 ?

I had a terrible experience with a makeover at the Bare Minerals counter last year...it honestly showed up every single bloody line on my face, I looked about 104. I've heard Lily Lolo is creamier but still long wearing ?

I am 43 and have been using Lily Lolo for about 4/5 years and I love it. I seriously wouldn't use anything else on my face. I'm quite fair so use Warm Peach foundation and the matte finishing powder in the summer but don't need the matte in winter.

Use their kabuki brush and brush, brush, brush..... I look like I've got no foundation on at all but I know my skin looks more even and just better!

Their eye shadows literally last all day, no creasing, no fading.....

Hth's!

I'm 50+ and use it. I prefer the texture and colour to BM. It doesn't seem as long lasting, but it is as good as ordinary foundation / powder. Touch-ups look OK, where as with BM I felt cakey. My skin is normal/dry, with lines and open pores and it suits it well. I'm very pale and in winter felt BM was just a little too dark, but LL is a good colour match. I do prefer to see makeup in real life so was pleasantly surprised how good a match it is for my skin tone. All round I'm really pleased with it, and it is cheaper!

I'm just wrong side of forty (looks better not in numbers!) and have just started using it. Bought several tester pots to find right colour (£1.49 each) You can use a couple and blend which is useful

Yes to kabuki brush and brush well in (more than you think you should) Lovely airbrushed look/feel but sometimes I think it highlights my wrinkles laughter lines too much but I really am a novice.

It can pick up on any dry, flaky bits (that I never new I had til then) but moisturising well beforehand helps

On the whole very pleased with it, much more than liquid ones I've tried

I use it since last year, am 39, I like the natural look of it and the fact that it is not sticky like a normal foundation. I never used foundation before that. May need topping up during the day but i normally don't bother.

I think I'm in love with Lily Lolo! They match my pale skin tone better than Chanel and Dior and the mineral concealer is really good. Love the light and natural finish. Still experimenting, so it's early days. I do find mineral makeup a bit drying but so far it's the best fit for my sensitive allergy-prone skin.
