Can I slightly shrink this jumper

I have a jumper I love but I could do with it being a size smaller its polyamide and acrylic mix. Any ideas anyone or am I being a bit hopeful?

Hopeful

Send it to me, I have a gift for shrinking jumpers, I manage it without even trying.

Yes thought hopeful but thought I'd ask as you lot can be very clever sometimes.

MBE I feel your shrinkage expertise may not be quite what I'm after Wink

I doubt it. Acrylic won't shrink, so even if the nylon does, the item will end up misshapen.

I don't buy acrylic anymore. I've had too many washing disasters. Ime it tends to get bigger, not smaller, if washed too hot.

I must admit I didn't feel very proud when I wrote the composition of the fabric!

what about that thing where you used to put a crisp packet in the oven, and it would shrink?

maybe not :)
