I bought 2 new dresses in the sale from Comptoir des Cotonniers, they were a lot more than what I would usually spend but decided to treat myself. When I got them home realised they were both dry clean only - one is silk, the other viscose. I get most of my stuff from Topshop, Zara and H&M and would hand wash anything that I got from there that said dry clean only without a second though, in cold water. I am really hesitant to do so with new dresses though as if I ruin them I will be gutted! But if I dry clean them will wear them a lot less than I want to. WWYD?
