Which make up actually stays put?

By the time I get to lunch at work I am finding most of my make up has rubbed off and I just look tired (Which I am but still wanted to hide it!) I already use primer but does anyone use a foundation and eye liner that lasts? Or any tips to make it last ?

Not sure if the link will work on my phone but it's the Clinique brush on eye liner, lasts all day and doesn't smudge. It really is great, foundation I can't help you with I'm afraid, I'm not sure such a thing exists

The Dior retractable waterproof liners stay put. They are expensive, at £18, but they work. Estee Lauder double wear eye pencils also last well. Estee Lauder Double Wear foundation is the longest lasting I've found. Could also use Urban Decay setting spray. If you're on a budget, the Rimmel 25 hour foundation is nice, and lasts well.

Mac liquid eyeliner is fab and stays put all day and night. Around the £16 mark.

What primer do you have? Check whether it is oil, water or silicon based and then get a foundation that has the same base. If they have different bases the primer won't make a blind bit of difference.

Bare Minerals make one of the best I've tried. It's the brush-on, powdery foundation, not sure what it's called!

Bobbi Brown cream eyeshadows are amazing, they dry after you put them on, and just last all day. Ditto Bobbi Brown no smudge mascara. Re: I really like the clinique ones! and have found it makes a huge difference to my foundation's ability to stay on my face.

Mineral powder foundation. Best thing ever. Several brands are good. It's the mineral bit that makes it work, rather than the brand!

Maybelline's cream eyeshadows are incredible. They claim to last 24 hours and I haven't tested it but I can well believe it. The bronze shade is gorgeous on all skin tones.
