Is there such a thing as a semi-permanent.. perm??

I feel daft asking that Grin

I have naturally v curly hair that I straighten. I always straighten it so it's curled/wavy at the ends but that falls out during that day. Do things like loose wave perms exist and would it override the natural curl in my hair? I'd love to just be able to straighten the roots and front and have the ends already in a nice wave/curl that doesn't fall out.

This kind of wave would be perfect, but is it possible?? (Oh, and semi permanent is because I'm a chicken and might not like it!)

Nice hair

Yes I think it's possible. I used to have a root perm (I have short hair) for body. I'm no hairdresser, but I'm sure the look you've attached could be achieved using big rollers.
