Just noticed 2 pretty items in oasis which are very similar to designer styles I have admired but would never be buying!
This top is very like this one from erdem. I love erdem designs and always looking for similar at my price range. I also thought this skirt and this dress were not a million miles away from this perfect oscar de la renta dress, the first one.
Just thought I'd share for anyone interested! Smile

Thats where the high street get there inspiration from though, think its called the "trickle down effect" - 4 years at uni and thats the only phrase i remember Smile!!!

The buyers & designers from high st stores go to the designer catwalk shows for inspiration, of course its always good when you get a near copy of the item that costs triple the amount your paying. I remember a few years ago primark were sued by a designer (cant remember who) for copying a leather type jacket, all primark had done was change the fabric and moved a zip over a few inches. Primark obviously lost though!

Oh, I agree - Oasis have been very, umm, inspired here. I have that rose skirt, incidentally, and it's terrific. Lovely shape and it's made of cotton (the Ted Baker floral skirt is polyester, by way of contrast).

Zara are also often, umm inspired, too. Very inspired.
