The spot that will not go

Nearly a month ago I got a spot on my chin. I get them occasionally and they are like big lumps that hurt like hell and eventually if I leave them alone disappear.

This one refuses to go.

It got to monster proportions over Christmas, had 4 heads on it and looked like it was taken over my face. Gradually it's gone down to just two hard bumps but they intermittently crack and weep and then scab.

I'm trying not to cover it with make up too much (but have to sometimes) but I just want it to go. The rest of my skin has never looked so good but all I notice is this spot!!

I get spots like this-last for weeks and don't look like ordinary spots-more like cysts. I use panoxyl on them but I have a feeling that has stopped being made. Ignore anyone that says, 'dab a bit of toothpaste on it' or, 'I swear by Sudocreme' as they won't help a bit on spots like that. Try Quinoderm or Benzac?

If you've had it a month now and it's still there then nothing topical is going to help. Go to your GP and get a course of Erythromycin.
