Coloured contact lenses

Was wondering if anyone wears them anymore?

My eyes are a dark grey-green colour and look pretty dark and dull. Was thinking of trying a blue or green contact lens but I remember a friend wearing them years ago and them looking really unnatural and fake.

Have things moved on since then? I'm hoping for a subtle change, nothing too obvious.

Yar, in Asia it counts as part of your makeup now and you can get natural to bright to crazy giant doll eyed look contacts.

I'd go with a trusted Asian brand because last time I looked for western style ones a couple of years ago - there were... none. Or really super expensive SFX ones. Or just crappy looking.

I'm afraid I can't name any brands off the top of my head - do have a look at some of the Asian beauty girls on youtube for recs. I know Michelle Phan uses them a lot in her makeup looks.

Sorry I'm not much help. I ended up not bothering because I absolutely suck at putting contacts in. Apparently the Asian ones are now nicer, softer and more comfortable to wear.
