Anyone ever bought anything from Free People? And, if so, how do you rate them - particularly on quality?

I have seen a couple of items by Free People on Asos.com that I really like but since I am totally unfamiliar with the brand, and the items are over budget, I don't want to take the plunge without a bit of expert opinion first.....

The only thing I've bought from them was a long white lace dress which I intended to wear as a sort of boho bridal gown.
I bought it from the US site and got absolutely stung on the tax (I live in Ireland, not sure what the situation re. tax is for UK buyers) and had to fork over 100 quid at the door. Nearly cried.

The dress was nice but too big (even XS), and it had to be returned. :(

So I think if you do go for it buying from ASOS is a good idea. What have you got in mind?

Thanks claudeekishi - am rubbish with links, but I've seen a white boho-looking tunic top and a pink jumper. I am also quite keen on one of their dresses. I am quite fussy with clothes, and I have been looking for these items that are exactly like this for ages.... just don't want to fork out £££ if the quality is pants.

Did you rate the quality?

The Pretty Little Liars stylist uses quite a few of their tops helpful
