Calling all winters. Eye shadow palette.

I've always used brown or bronze eyeshadows and since working out I'm a winter I've realised they're probably the worst colours possible. I've been looking for different eye shadow palettes that will actually suit me but all I'm finding is browns. Blues and greens don't suit me either. Any recommendations?

Grey, silvers? Benefit do a nice palette for everyday with has greigey neutrals iykwim

Grey and silver look best on me. What shade of blue did you try as I find navy eyeliner looks good on me. You could also try purple but that looked awful on me. Or the really icy colours such as ice pink or ice blue.

Since being diagnosed as a winter though I wear less eye make up and more bright lipsticks as they look better on me which I would never have tried before knowing I was a winter.

I wear white eye shadow with a black liner for day to day.

Grey, taupe, lilac?

Same as queencadbury, I wear bright fuschia or red lipstick and good black mascara but less eyeshadow.

Yep I never wear eyeshadow. Bold lips, mascara, eyeliner - job done.

I tend to use a charcoal eyeshadow to line my eyes and then stick to bright lipsticks. I do have a very nice Givenchy palette which should suit a winter.

I don't tend to bother with eye-shadow either, just black or purple eyeliner. For nights out I sometimes use dark grey eye-shadow to do a smoky eye, but I tend to do bright lip instead.

I am blonde but randomly have very dark (black really) eyelashes and eyebrows, so I don't wear mascara. I have gone through a similar process, I now shy away from warm browns with any gold or bronze tones and go for a sweep of single taupe shadow for day, and a shimmery smoky palette for night. Head to a makeup counter and look for a basic palette that is brown but almost grey.

Chanel Raffinement is a bit tricky to track down but is a fab cool toned palette - it is brown but a very cool brown.
