Boots with a grippy sole?

Not stylish and not beautiful but I really need some boots with more grip than the ones I've got. Just so I can walk to school and back without falling over! I'm a European size 36 and happy to spend as much or little as needed. Would prefer them to look reasonably ok - so flat winter boots suitable for a school run of a mile and back, with a grippy sole. Anyone able to help me? Thanks!

Amazon do free returns on shoes I believe - certainly I returned some DMs with no issues a few months ago! So worth a go.

I got these .. Dune They are mega grippy.

Yaktrax are my favourite winter accessory. They slip over any boot and give great grip. I have found, however, that last year they seem to slip off quite often, particularly in deep snow. Also, they break more than they used to. My first pair lasted 3 winters, this last two years I've been lucky if they've seen out the year. They are, however, the best grip and having broken my arm a couple of years ago, they are the things I rely on.

badasahatter That's maybe why Costco were selling them in packs of 3 this winter Grin

LOL thenightsky. I'll be bobbing over there for a three pack then. At least then, if I lose one, I can mix and match. :)

Ordered the bargainsome £32 boots - free delivery and returns. Going to get the yax trax too I think.. But the small says size 4-8 - should I buy the junior version size 12-4, do you think?

If the boots you ordered don't suit, you won't need yaxtraxx (which I have) with Rohde boots. They are waterproof, warm and have grips that cope with ice.
