Pyjamas for grown ups?

I love pjs, would like a pair that are warm but vaguely 'sensual' ie not necessarily sexy but not tartan button-ups either!

There doesn't seem to be much around between yer negligee type and novelty or cutes-y pjs/onesies. I like the fig leaves Camelia ones but they don't have my size.

My house is v cold so need to be warm ideally with long sleeves. Anyone seen anything along those lines? Thanks.

Next have some white cotton pyjamas in their spring collection. They look quite elegant. I'd buy them myself if I weren't obsessed with fake tan!

Firsttimer7259 · 12/01/2014 07:25

Have a look at gap toast and hush

2014newme · 12/01/2014 07:33

Good point op I find the same

YoMamma · 12/01/2014 08:27

There were some nice autograph ones at M&S pre-Xmas but I can't find them on the website now. More expensive but you could try White Company or there are some lovely looking silk ones from Hush.

White Company

Hush

TK maxx has lots. The latest pair I bought are Calvin Klein, jersey, easily double up as loungewear, plain, black, long sleeved.

MrsPeacockDidIt · 12/01/2014 09:23

I have 3 pairs of these

I got one pair from the Victoria Secrets store in Westfield Strattford then ordered more from the US website as they had more colours and a short length.

They are super comfy and warm.

I buy thermal underwear. Not sexy but not cutesy either.

Gorran · 12/01/2014 09:32

I bought a couple of pairs, along with a nightie (hate that word!) from The White Co. in their sale.

Gorran · 12/01/2014 10:25

And I've just ordered these: www.thewhitecompany.com/sale/clothing/velvet-spot-pyjamas--black/ Use code AC707 for an extra 10% off.

Sorry, this is the exact opposite of what you're after, but I was so impressed I had to mention - TU at Sainsburys men's tartan flannel pjs. Really soft, warm and cosy and twelve pounds. Better than my overpriced Hush pj bottoms, one pair of which went all stiff after washing, while the other unravelled at the waistband.

Thank you for all the suggestions. It's good to know there are some out there, though not many in the pyjama-scheme.

I love the white company spotted ones but sold out in my size Hmm. The hush ones are gorgeous but beyond my budget. One or two of the Next ones could be ok. Will check out tk maxx. In addition to the scarcity I am also quite picky about colour and neckline but will remember to check things out pre Xmas this year and in the sales earlier on. Thanks again for the suggestions.
