The 'other' French look - Isabel Marant etc.

Been reading and loving the Parisian style threads, but all that grooming and neutrals is beyond me. I'm shite at blow-drying, can't wear proper heels and like colour and vintage too much.

I do love the Isabel Marant-style look - or at least, bits of it. I can't get past the MNer who described the ra-ra skirts, beads etc as posh Per Una Grin but the footwear, lovely slouchy linen tops, androgynous coats etc are great.

Can't afford Marant, though. Any tips for where I might find that sort of look on the High Street?

H&M is full of it. Not the Isabel marant collaboration, just their normal stuff. Most of its polyester, but it's there and it's affordable.

Zara can be a good source - slouchy linen tees & cardigans and block print blouses.
