I'm after something like Clarins Flash Beauty Balm but with some colour in it.

I usually use Clinique Super Balance foundation but I'm quite pregnant and it seems a bit heavy on me now as pregnancy evens my skin and any redness but leaves me pale.

I need something a bit lighter to make me look less pale and tired that hopefully I can just slap on.

It would be ideal if I could buy from the local Boots which has Clinique, Clarins, Benefit, No7 and Lancôme.

Can anyone help?

Thank you.

Lancome foundations are fab for making your skin look less tired. Try the teint idole one.

I've been pleasantly surprised by an extremely cheap foundation, Rimmel's Wake Me Up. It was around £5 on ASOS. I had been using Laura Mercier Silk Creme (which is gorgeous) for years before that but this cheap one actually lasts all day and really does have a 'wakening' effect on my skin. It works well for pink undertones, something most cheap foundations lack. It's not a heavy coverage either.

Walnut, I was going to start a "Lancôme Teint Idole is bloody amazing" thread today. I had a sample of a week's supply and it's great. OP, don't be put off by thinking its heavy as you really only need the smallest amount. I need nothing more than it, my blush, eye liner and mascara. All other face faff has been abandoned. Seriously. You put this on and forget about it for the rest of the day. Not Estée Lauder Double Wear heavy duty, either!

Get a sample.

Olay CC cream is good. Its light on the skin with a hint of colour.

I bought the Lancôme. I decided to treat myself as I can't buy clothes or shoes at 34 weeks pregnant so it has to be make up.

Tried it out in the shop and hoping to recreate the nice look myself tomorrow.

It's mess messy than the Clinique too which is good.
