I have really sparse eyebrows and recently have been thinking of having them tattooed on.Has anyone ever had this done which has looked good?.
Also i need some recommendations of places to have this done if anyone can help.I live in Brighton but would travel to London if i had to.

Find a beauty salon that does HD Brows instead. It costs around £25 and lasts 8 weeks. The eyebrows are tinted with a tint that really grabs all the hairs that you have like no other tint. They are then waxed into shape and also plucked slightly. It is the best thing I have ever had done, they really frame your face and are totally natural. Try and google HD brows before and after and see for yourself. Good luck

I had my brows and eyeliner done.

Best thing I ever did

Just a dab of blusher, lippy and a quick coat of mascara every morning.

It didn't hurt at all.

WhoKnowsWhereTheTimeGoes · 10/01/2014 23:52

There was a thread a year or so back about this and someone recommended a place in Brighton, if you have a search back you might find it. I keep thinking about it too but have never plucked up (geddit) the courage to do it. Mine are too sparse for even the most miraculous tint to be any good - you could probably count the hairs Sad.

I'd be interested if I could find a tattooist to fill in patchy natural brows. I researched this a while back and it seems all the tattooists want you to shave off your eyebrows completely and start from scratch. All the HD brow/scouse brows just looks awful to my eyes

I'm on my phone now but If you PM me I'll send you the name of the clinic I went to in london - and send pics.

I'll be on laptop in the morning x

I'm in Brighton and I get mine done by Lisa at beautiful ink on crown street. I'll find the link

Gucci- I did think about the HD brows but they all seem to look so thick and heavy.

Catinboots- I've pmed you

Oh and I didn't have to shave my eyebrows off either

WhoKnowsWhereTheTimeGoes · 11/01/2014 00:06

Yes, I want to avoid what I perceive to be the HD brow look, as I am a bit old for it and I wear very little make-up, just want a natural look.

guccigirly · 11/01/2014 00:09

My HD brows are in a natural brown colour, not black and don't look harsh at all. There are lots of different shades you can have.

Have you thought about Eyebrow transplant where they transplant hairs for a more natural look?

ocpwr · 11/01/2014 00:12

Thanks NoArmani i will check out that site.

That's just what I want natural looking,I find it a pain every morning filling them in.

I hadn't heard of transplants, no.

catinboots · 11/01/2014 00:13

Will reply first thing AM when on the laptop x

ocpwr · 11/01/2014 00:18

Gucci- the only problem is my eyebrows are a bit patchy so didn't think the HD would work for me

I didn't realise you could have an eyebrow transplant, that is definitely one to look into

4k for an eyebrow transplant and mine are so fair that I'd still need to dye them. Tattooing works for me as I get both shape and colour. I'm into my 3rd year of having them done now.

Browhaus do something called a brow resurrection which gets good reviews.

Had mine done twice, once in Essex and once in Kent and have never ever heard of anyone being asked to shave theirs off. That's ludicrous!!
