I really want a new black handbag for daily use.

The one I had was rive island, and I loved it. Floppy material, bit of a shimmer, but daily use.

Anyway, in a few weeks I might have £300 to spend, on a daily one but I can't find any styles I like.

I want one with pockets, I don't carry a lot, but with straps long enough to put over my shoulder with a thick coat.

I want nice, and leather but I don't think my budget stretches to designer.

Any suggestions?

Have a look on John Lewis - their own brand is very nice and you would pick up a lovely leather bag for less than £100. I have a few designer bags (Mulberry etc) but the John Lewis one is nicer quality.

I was going to say john Lewis too. Also look at designers like Michael kors Tory burch marc by marc jacobs and orla kiely. Orla kiely has some lovely bags on their sale at the moment.

However upaet with that, tried tos ee £160 carvela heels for £20 only worn a few times and hardly any looks.

Oh bum, OP, didn't notice that. might be worth looking in RL as it looks like a lovely bag. My mum has the MJ Too Hot to Handle and it's very similar.

The grosvenor is smaller than the out of stock JL hobo.

Ive bid on a bad whoch says the biggest size is 35

If that is cm i am very confused, the out of stock bag says 35 cm bit i have just got a take measure out and whatever dimension that is, its very vey big!

What have i got wrong!

John Lewis, Karen Millen and Reiss are the motherlodes of nice, not too expensive handbags in my opinion. I hope you find something nice.
