Help! Handbag lining caught on zip

Just that really! I've snagged the lining and it's caught on the zip. Well & truly stuck
It's an expensive bag and I really don't want to tear the lining.

Is there a magic solution S&Bers?

Rubbing a graphite pencil along the teeth of the zipper fixed mine, hope it works for you.

If you can't get it off you could carefully cut the lining around the stuck bit, then sew a patch over it, then make a little extra internal pocket and sew that over the patched bit.
