Lunch outfit.

Next Saturday we're going to a really lovely restaurant for lunch. It looks fairly smart and I just don't know what to wear. All my dresses are too evening-y and my day time clothes are either work or casual. So I think I'm in the market for something new. Any advice or suggestions greatly received. Im 41, 5'2. size 10-12 with a budget of £100ish. Thanks in advance.

possibly or not averse to trousers and top. I was thinking my coated skinnies with a silk top but not sure that would be right given we're in North Yorkshire.

That sounds pretty good to me - that's exactly the sort of outfit I wear for a nice lunch. I always feel a bit 'done' in dresses.

Oh I like that a lot and a good price too. But I know what you mean about done. Maybe I will order and see which I feel best in. Thanks v much.
