Just in case anyone is interested, I bought some perfume today which came up at the bargain price of 1p when I got to the tills!! It's called ' Busy but beautiful' and was £9.50 full price. There isn't any left online but there was quite a few left in-store..

Wow what a bargain! I love it when that happens, how much was it reduced to on the shelf?

I had the same happen to me with a skirt just before Christmas, was reduced to £5 but when I got to the till it was £1 Grin.

lookdeepintotheparka · 08/01/2014 16:46

Great isn't it Grin

It was £3 on the last chance to buy shelves..

On a similar note, I spent £24 yesterday and got 4 skirts, a top, a cardigan and a scarf hanger. Most bargainous Grin

DaftSkunk · 08/01/2014 17:14

Wow onelittlelady that was pretty good going! I bought a cord dress reduced to £5 which I was so pleased with, as I had been looking at another one but it was £50.

OneLittleLady · 08/01/2014 17:15

I'm chuffed DaftSkunk I've lost some weight recently so needed new clothes but I don't have masses of ££ to spend so the more bargains the better! I was looking at cord dress as well but I'm not sure I can pull on off

dexter73 · 08/01/2014 17:22

Sounds like there are some good bargains in M&S at the moment. You got an amazingly bargainous haul there OneLittleLady! Any links or are they not online?

OneLittleLady · 08/01/2014 17:27

Not online, in the bargain basement that is Primark. I'm still losing weight so I didn't want to buy anything expensive as it might not fit in another month and would just be a waste of money. I have a pot I'm saving in for nice clothes when my weight settles

dexter73 · 08/01/2014 17:32

Sounds like you will be having a lot of fun shopping soon then! How much longer do you think it will take you to reach your target weight?

OneLittleLady · 08/01/2014 18:08

dexter it's going to take a good while, starting weight was...i'd rather not say but, well, i was large enough to actually qualify for a gastric band according to medical professionals. I'm only 4' 11'' and was wearing a size 20/22 and am now in size 14 skirts and dresses. Grin

DaftSkunk · 08/01/2014 18:10

If it was Primark onelittlelady it was probably the same cord dress. I'm dead chuffed with it!

dexter73 · 08/01/2014 18:10

That is an amazing loss! You must feel great now. When my dd was little I had 3 stone to lose and that was hard enough so well done (I hope that doesn't sound condescending as it isn't meant to be!!).

DaftSkunk · 08/01/2014 18:11

Argh clicked to soon. I also meant to say congrats on the weight loss!

OneLittleLady · 08/01/2014 18:21

Thanks, I am really chuffed Dexter going to keep going and see how far I get. It's made all the more difficult as I'm on a LOT of prescription medication and every single one of them causes weight gain but I'm fighting it!

Was it the red one DaftSkunk?

DaftSkunk · 08/01/2014 18:28

No it's black, I'm not sure I'm brave enough to wear red.

OneLittleLady · 08/01/2014 18:31

Ah they only had the red one in our local store. I still might go back for it, I'm not known for my safe choices in clothing Wink

DaftSkunk · 08/01/2014 19:05

It is a bit risqué for me purely on the length of it! Thick tights will be donned Grin.

OneLittleLady · 08/01/2014 19:16

Thick tights are definitely the answer. Just don't bend over, lower yourself at your knees Grin

DaftSkunk · 08/01/2014 19:24
Grin

Sorry lookdeep for the thread deviation to cord dresses!

OneLittleLady · 08/01/2014 19:29

lokkdeep is the perfume actually nice? If so, i might see if there's some in my local store

lookdeepintotheparka · 08/01/2014 20:07

No worries - just wish there was a Primark near me!!

Perfume isn't bad at all - quite a fresh zesty smell with a hint of florals. I got quite a few and will probably give as presents to the younger members of my family Grin can't go wrong for a penny!!

Will go and give it a sniff if there are any in my local store. Going to hunt out some more bargains tomorrow if I'm up to it.

DaftSkunk · 08/01/2014 20:28

I might pop in too, for a penny can't go wrong Grin. Bought some fab shoes from M&S which are actually really comfy, although they've reduced them again since I bought them Hmm.

These ones

OneLittleLady · 08/01/2014 20:29

oooh, they are nice DaftSkunk might see if there's any of those too baaaaaaa Grin

DaftSkunk · 08/01/2014 20:32

No problem, I've been recommending them to everyone Grin.

dexter73 · 08/01/2014 20:35

I want to go to M&S now but I can't get into Oxford from my house easily as both roads in are flooded and closed Sad.
