J Crew pixie pants

I'm looking for black trousers that are more structured/smart than leggings but equally versatile and came across these. I'd have to order online so wanted to see if anyone out there has a pair and can give an opinion. Are they worth the £88 price tag? Any recommendations for alternatives? I've tried these and they were great but they're even more expensive (probably due to the leather pocket trim which would probably be hidden by most tops).

They are made of ponte fabric. I have a couple of pairs by J Jill I brought back from America made of that fabric. Good because they don't cling like leggings but are narrow. Looking to buy more of similar, I saw some in ponte on the Marks website.
J Crew are expensive in the US and are charging a premium here!

I have the jcrew ones and love them but I bought them here (US) and paid $98. The UK prices just seem absurd.

They are lovely and do tall. Where's MrsDB, I hope she sees them?

Sadly just as I have decided to buy one ... the tippi jumpers aren't in the sale anymore

I have them. The sizing is slightly on the large size imo. They're definitely thicker than regular leggings. I don't wear them as leggings, more as trousers.
