Most comfortable bras?

Hi, I've been 'bra intervened', or figured it out myself. I'm a 30E or 32DD-E ish, so not massive but as I'm a small frame I look really buxom in my newish bras - Freya Deco. They fit and are meant to be unpadded but they do seem to have a rather thick lining. I also find them very uncomfortable, they leave big red unsightly marks under my boobs.

Any bras out that that give a good shape, don't have thick lining and are comfortable?

expensive but the most comfy bras imo are primadonna , especially the deuville

fantasie are very comfy for a less £££ one

The Cleo range are pretty comfy as are the Bravissimo own brand range. I own a Deco and don't find it that comfy either. However not of my bras do leave marks (like a waistband or sock marks) and they're red but not sore. That's normal for a properly fitting bra.

Try Freya and Fantasie unpadded bras too. The Panache range tend to be firmer and stiffer. TBH all bras fit and feel different even within the same range so you need to try each one.

Bra comfort is a real issue for me too. I hate the tightness of a well fitted bra. The best brand for me is Eimpreinte, which are incredibly expensive but totally worth it. They seem to be made quite differently to Fantasie bras. The sides are quite different.

Triumph supersoft tshirt bra
In the right size you'll never know it's on

I second the Cleo, best bra I have, also Bravissimo's Satine if you get on with plunges. I didn't get on with the Deco either, it was a bit empty in the top of one cup and was very HERE ARE MY BOSOMS under clothes.

MadBusLady · 07/01/2014 23:33

BTW I found I had to size up one cup in the Satine to 30G, in the Cleo I am 30FF.

I think bra comfort is a really personal thing and depends on your breast and body shape a lot. For me, the comfiest bras I have are Ewa Michalak ones - they have very a very narrow central gore, fairly narrow wires, light moulding and three hooks at the back in my size which makes them great for me.

It's trial and error though to find the ones which suit you best. You may find something which isn't as moulded is more comfortable though as the moulding means the bra is a fixed shape so can't adapt to you at all.

My most comfortable is Calvin Klein seductive comfort (non padded). Unfortunately, I can't find them anywhere apart from once at tk maxx. If anyone sees this in 34DD (or even E) please point me in that direction!

I have panache idina balconettes, very comfortable. Most comfortable bras I've ever worn, perhaps that's because I am actually wearing the right size for once! Went and got fitted at bravissimo, would highly recommend getting fitted properly, then you can try loads on to see which suit you the best.
