Splashed out in the sale over a week ago. Items are still 'waiting to be picked'. Wtf?

Remembered reading on S&B something about this but searched talk and couldn't find it.

Any joy yet from those with probs/delays in receiving the stuff?

Me too. When I contacted them they said

Thank you for being so patient in regards to waiting for your parcel to be dispatched. I’m sorry to learn that your order hasn’t been dispatched just yet.

As our warehouse is based in Germany during the festive period the 24th, 25th,, 26th and the 1st are not counted as working days. Because of this parcels are being slightly delayed but the warehouse staff are working exceedingly hard to catch up with the backlog of orders.

As soon as your parcel has left our warehouse we’ll send you an email to let you know that it is on it’s way. The warehouse are working round the clock to catch up so I expect your parcel to be dispatched within the next couple of working days.

That was last week and still nothing.

How rubbish but then aren't they the same group as h&m who seem to take forever to deliver and at least 3 weeks to process a refund.

Definitely puts you off ordering especially as the sizing is so hit and miss with cos.

Yes, I don't think I'll be back to them online.

I do like the shop. I was a bit scared by the very very trendy assistants but they were helpful and honest when I tried stuff on.

My local store only stocks i would say 1/4 of what they have online which is the only reason i use their online facility. I hate the wait but i do love the clothes!

The wait for on line orders isn't usually this bad, or as bad as H&M (though they are the worst ever) having said that, last year at sale time this happened too and then only half my order actually arrived as they other half had gone out of stock but they didn't think to email and say.

I agree - the sale stuff I ordered last summer arrived much more promptly which was what surprised me. So annoying they didn't let you know that stuff had sold out.

The local here is Westfield. Big store. Does take ages to sift though all the different black clothing though!

Each time I have tried to purchase from Cos I have received and email some time later telling me there was an error/out of stock items with my order and a refund has been made.

I just stopped bothering after a while.

They are a slack. When you deal with solely online companies (ASOS etc) you get used to it just… arriving. Fast!
