Biker chic, styling Biker jacket and boots?

Anyone else live in Biker boots and jacket? What do you wear them with? Looking to update my look a bit but can't part with my boots and jacket.

They are in shops at the moment so assuming they are back in fashion, what should I be wearing with them?

Pregnant at the moment but can't wait to get back into them! Still wear my boots though. It's my favourite look

I usually wear them with skinny jeans and a variety of tops - mostly stripey jersey, plain long jersey vests or long sleeved (depending on weather) or a tartan shirt. If plain jersey then I would try and style with a chunky necklace to break it up a bit.

Can I ask how old you are? Worried I'm too old for my bikers, I'm 34 next month.

Have just Googled, a stripey jersey looks good.

No idea what my phone is doing. Sorry.

I am 31, definitely don't think 34 is too old.

I like both biker boots and biker jackets, but not together. And I think black leather biker jackets are harder to wear when you get older - I wear black fabric ones, but have chocolate leather, and would like a grey one.

I'm 42 and I think I can still cary it off. I wear biker boots but my leather jacket is simpler and more pared down. Its not, strictly speaking, biker.

I have jackets and boots in black and brown, which I choose depending on what colour my jeans and top are. The black does give an edgier, more harsh look. I quite like it though, when you're in your Bikers you always look like you have confidence even if really you have none at all

34 and wore biker jacket with lace dress & shoe boots to a wedding, the bride came over and said how fab I looked!!

my boots, as the others have said skinny jeans and tops Grin

I love my biker boots and leather jacket ... The majority of the time I wear it with a cute tea dress or a floaty/flowery dress that would (for me) be a bit too twee on it's on.

Casual days it's a vest top/t-shirt in a light colour, black skinny jeans or leggings depending on the fatness of the day I'm having!

DuckCommander · 05/01/2014 09:23

Do you think I'd be better to introduce some colour in my tops? Think I need to move away from tshirt, more grown up tops. Should I stick with great, whites and black or will it look better with a bit of colour underneath the jacket?

I agree with Remus that I don't tend to wear biker jacket and boots together - I'd feel a bit as though I'd lost my Harley! But I do love both - this time of year I live in shearling lined boots with skinny jeans and a parka or a jumper dress and thick tights. I think a biker style jacket (not necessarily leather) works with most things especially the more unexpected - I love one with a pretty tea dress or similar. Agree again that black leather can look a little harsh but brown, wine or grey can be more flattering .

definitely add colour!!
