So have a wedding to attend at Easter, has a theme, black or white.

So what do people think of this dress?

I'm a curvy size 14 with 34g boobs!

Thanks

I prefer the first one, unless you have some good accessories for the second, which is a bit bland and borderline funereal.

Is it an evening do? Are you tall and willowy? If yes, then either one is great.

Katz · 03/01/2014 19:10

Full day for wedding.

Sadly not tall or willowy more short and dumpy! Well hourglass shaped

I have just worn a dress like this to a wedding and I had loads of compliments! It was very flattering not to mention comfortable.

Katz · 03/01/2014 19:17

Wearesix that's fabulous! How's the bust area?

Love the first and third dresses Katz.

Think the first one would look stunning at a black tie ball.

2nd one is dull.

Third one best for a wedding imvho.

WeAreSix · 03/01/2014 19:22

It is darted at the front and has a bit of stretch so was fine. I went all out and bought a proper petticoat - ooh I did love twirling :) :)

Katz · 03/01/2014 19:23

May well order that one Wearesix, plus a petticoat!

I prefer the one wearesix re commented. I love 50s style ones. Very flattering to curvy ladies too. :)

mrssmith79 · 03/01/2014 19:30

Love them both OP. Leaning slightly towards the first one though.

WeAreSix · 03/01/2014 19:37

I could wear all of the Lady C dresses tbh. I might get a couple for the summer! I was in my dress all day, felt no need to change for the evening reception. Plus they're washable which is an added bonus!

WeAreSix · 03/01/2014 19:37

Lady C?! I meant Lady V?!

eurochick · 03/01/2014 19:41

I like the first and third of your links for a wedding (the second is nice but I'd steer away from plain black). And I love the one wearesix linked.

Katz · 03/01/2014 19:51

Lady v it is! Just need to shift the half stone from Christmas!

WeAreSix · 03/01/2014 19:53

I'm tempted to get the reduced dress. If only I had an occasion I needed it for!!

Katz · 03/01/2014 20:05

It's the sort of dress which could wait for a special occasion.

Those Lady V dresses are gorgeous!

Katz · 03/01/2014 20:07

I love this one

Could get it for dinner the evening before!

Love the Lady V one with the red bow. Fab.

WeAreSix · 03/01/2014 20:22

Love the butterflies...

do not add to basket do not add to basket

onedev · 04/01/2014 00:49

I so need to lose weight so I can fit into those dresses Grin

Katz · 04/01/2014 12:27

I think I'm going to go for the plain black Hepburn dress, which I can accessorise with a teal green bolero cardigan and matching shoes I already have, or a similar combo.
