Fat Calf Issue

I have fat calves ... had a good inch and a half gap in some Tesco knee high boots. :(

I really want to wear dresses (with leggings underneath as I am Casper pale) but I struggle with what to put on my feet. Especially if it is raining.

I am 5'2 and walk about 25 minutes each way to work.

Oh and I am not well off!!

I really don't know what would look right.

Evans sell wider calf boots. And I am sure there are others.

Duo boots.

Clarks are pretty good too, but I find that they don't have many wide fit boots in store and that I have to order on line. Some have up to 50% off in the sale.

I second DUO boots - they are dear, but really well made and will last your years. They currently have their 50% off sale on too.

Or look at DUO on ebay - as long as you know your calf circumference (measure with a tape at the widest point) you should be able to find something really nice and fits.

Fwiw, I feel your pain.

Asda had some knee high boots with a large elastic acted panel that stretch lots they fit my 39cm calves and my sisters 46cm calves. They were £45 and real leather. Also brought similar ones from m&s but they were closer to £100. Next do ones with large elastic panels and simply be do ones with calf fittings. First thing to do is measure your calves.
