Trying to upgrade wardrobe, avoiding synthetics

I'm sick of wall to wall acrylic and polyester! I want better quality clothes but also I'll be workiing in a very hot and humid climate for several weeks this year and am struggling to find suitable clothes.
Can anyone please direct me to retailers who still make clothes from cotton, silk etc? I do buy the odd thing from Mint Velvet but find their colour palette very limiting.

White company does beautiful basic wear :)
Linen tshirts?

My 'uniform' for hot countries is either linen/cotton dresses or skirts with vests and a long linen white shirt :)

Search the outnet. Lovely pieces to be found there and at a fraction of the cost.

Load up on basic t's and vests.

Massimo Dutti is a good place to look. Maybe a little from Banana Republic, plenty at Uniqlo.

h&m do long armed pure cotton jersey tops, which are great as basics (and don't need to be ironed).
