these

Have been lusting after them for ages and finally they're in the sale! With 20% off! Yay Grin

Now wondering if they're a bit daft? Do they look ok?

They look nice enough but Dorothy Perkins shoes are hard, plastic rubbish. I don't think 'leather look' is a good idea. I've bought real leather boots for cheaper than that in other sales (ASOS and Zara).

But you sound excited so try them, they could be lovely.

If you are slim (i am not) and are only going to wear them on special occasions with nice skinny jeans or black tights then go for it - don't expect them to last though, or be comfy. I have been looking for new boots - ended up with a pair of "north face" waterproof walking "trainers" I lurve them - £45 reduced from £110 - bargain. I did hae a pair of thigh length boots in my youth, i looked like i was starring in panto

OMG i sound like my mother "they wont last five minutes" argghhhhhh ;)

BunnyLebowski · 01/01/2014 12:57

I don't like them.

They look like waders.

tethersend · 01/01/2014 12:59

They're ok, but you could get leather ones for the same price.

I don't like over the knee boots at all, sorry. They always make me think of both fishermen and 'ladies of the night' and it is not a good combination.

But if I did, I would deffo buy leather rather than plastic.

Skinheadmermaid · 01/01/2014 13:24

I'm afraid i'm not a fan of over the knee boots. Too panto pretty woman in my opinion.

enormouse · 01/01/2014 13:26

I bought a similar pair from schuh last year but I have never worn them. Couldn't find anything that would work with them. I looked like a cross between puss in boots and Julia Roberts. (Not in a good way).

This year I'm hoping to spend more wisely on a pair of ash jalouse or another pair of dms.

Bigfatgypsyweddingwatcher · 01/01/2014 13:27

Oh balls.
Ok. Will try and and probably return see.
Thanks

You need very long legs
I tried a pair on and only had a couple of inches of leg left above the boot!

Not for me either.
