Suede boots

I bought a pair recently and have sprayed them to make them more water-resistant. But I'm starting to wonder if I've made a big mistake buying suede. I'm planning to wear them as everyday boots and don't want to be worrying every time it rains. I won't wear them through muddy fields or anything, but are they going to look awful after walking along a wet pavement?

If you've sprayed them with the right kind of spray then they should be fine. I've been wearing my suede boots for about 18 months , and they still look great.

I sprayed my suede ankle boots twice with Collonil before wearing. I've worn them in the rain often this Winter and they still look great.

Planning on giving them a brush and another spray soon though, just incase.

Mine are a grey/beige colour.
